After meeting some of my students at the Juan Valdez, and Discussing Some model theory Problems with Them, we met with Maria Clara and Walker back home Along Seventh Race - The Most symbolic throughfares in the center of Bogotá . The minga , the Indian Enormous march from the Cauca in southwest Colombia, now camping at National University, Was Just in front of us. An awesome thing to see. Some groups of people backing up Them ... Reduced group of events to Uniandinos (twenty of them to be?) proudly bearing university's emblem Their Marching Along! And Several groups of students from National University, chanting Against the Government in more Ways Than usual festive.
This video, from week, shows one oftice or someone's obnoxiousness, or else remembering some kanji, or else playing with writing symbolic words in Hebrew - one of my favorite pastimes... The words get erased by steam before I even finish a sentence. That's the best part of it. Most of those graffiti writings would be shameful if they lasted for more than a few seconds.
I sometimes want to believe that the authors of stupid and ugly graffiti are ashamed of their defacing public space...</lj>
